Google Classroom

Instructor: Nate Hanson

Google Classroom is a web-based application for facilitating a 21st century learning environment. It allows teachers and students to work collaboratively in a digital, paperless system. Students can access assignments, resources, and instructions from anyplace with an internet connection.

In this introductory workshop, teachers will have the opportunity to experience Google Classroom both as a teacher and as a student. We will cover the basic workflow for creating assignments, reviewing/grading student work, and the various communication tools built into the system. Note: Basic knowledge of Google Docs and Google Drive is recommended.
